Abstract

Based on the fourth-order cumulant of signals received by a uniform circular array of the bomb-carrying, the method for estimating 2-D direction of arrival is discussed. It can be employed to estimate parameters in the environment of arbitrary Gaussian noise without any spectral peak searching. The method of parameter match is analyzed. Iterative algorithm for higher-order cumulant is discussed, with which the process of data sampling and parameter estimating can be done in parallel. The validity of the method is proved by the result of the simulation.
