Abstract

The electro-magnetic actuator (EMA) used in the electronic control system of highspeed diesel engine was designed. The structure and principle of EMA were introduced. The dynamic model of EMA was created. The steady-state characteristic and transient characteristic were tested and studied. The.bench test showed that the EMA had good performence and high control accuracy, which could meet the need of the electronic control system of the high speed diesel engine well.
