Abstract

By means of the polymer statistical theory, the sol fraction, gelation condition for the A f type free radical homopolymerization reaction are deduced. Furthermore, the number fraction distribution is obtained by means of the Lagrange expansion technique and the invariant property of this distribution is revealed. This invariant property make the characterization of average polymer quantities for postgel easier.
