Abstract

This paper studies variants of FRT bialgebras associated with linear operators R ∈ End(V ⊗ V) which satisfy or do not necessarily satisfy the YB equation, and gives a necessary and sufficient condition for a bialgebra generated by a multiplicative matrix of a braid bialgebra to be a braid Hopf algebra.
