Abstract

Applying combinatorial approach, new open-framework zinc phosphates have been hydrothermally synthesized in the Zn(OAc)2-H3PO 4-N, N′-dimethylpiperazine-H2O system. The experimental design includes variation of the components of the reagents and the crystallization temperature, as well as the study of influence of transition metal cations on the crystallization. Their structures are solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, and further characterized by X-ray powder diffraction analysis, ICP, TG and NMR analyses.
