SWDL: A workflow definition language for distributed transactions

Abstract

The characteristics of some popular workflow definition languages were discussed fast. On the basis of the characteristics of these workflow definition languages, a new workflow definition language named SWDL designed for a distributed transactional workflow management system ScopeWork was presented, and an example was given to demonstrate how to define a complex transactional with SWDL. SWDL is compatible with the interlace definition language of CORBA supports the definitions of distributed workflow applications, and has the ability to model transactional workflows.
