Abstract

Ammonium nitrate was coated by a coupling agent Si-K and polymer material Polym-B, surfaces of the coated AN particles were characterized by SEM and XPS. The hygroscopicity and caking tendency of the coated AN were measured. The experimental results showed that hygroscopicity and caking tendency of AN particles could be effectively reduced through coating.
