Abstract

The acquisition, management and application activities of engineering knowledge in the product development process are collectively called engineering knowledge management. In engineering knowledge management, the uncertainty of engineering knowledge is widespread which results in the uncertainty of the effectiveness for engineering knowledge. Aiming at the uncertainty of engineering knowledge, Bayesian network model of engineering concept was established with Bayesian probability theory. The association relationship between engineering knowledge and knowledge was acquired by using engineering concept Bayesian network, and the effective access to engineering knowledge was achieved based on knowledge uncertainty. Finally, effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by using in the machine tool engineering-knowledge acquisition.
