Abstract

First development of maximum posterior probability algorithm (MAP) is introduced and then Markov based Poisson maximum posterior probability algoridim (MPMAP) and wavelet filtering theory are especially introduced. Based on the study of MPMAP algorithm, a new algorithm combined MPMAP algoridim with wavelet filtering is presented and it is called post -wavelet MPMAP algorithm (PWMPMAP). Test result proves mat super-resolution restoration has strong capability of restraining noise and ring phenomenon. The restoration effect is better man that of MPMAP algoridim. This algorithm is especially effective for low SNR image like infrared image. For example, compared with MPMAP algorithm peak signal-noise ratio(PSNR) can be increased by 0.4 dB for 30 dB infrared building image.
