Abstract
On the basis of the studies about the direction of single frequency continuous acoustic field scattered by small ball, the calculate formula of the directivity function of the scattering acoustic field was discussed, and a theoretical model was proposed to calculate the distribution of sound pressure of ultrasonic pulse field reflected by a small ball. The distributions of sound pressure of ultrasonic pulse field reflected by different small balls were calculated. The correctness of the calculate formula of directivity function and theoretical model were verified by the experiments. It was shown that the size of small ball had serious effects on the precision of measuring the distributions of sound pressure of ultrasonic pulse field through theoretical calculation and experiments.
