Abstract

By DSC and rheological property measurement combined with theoretic analysis, it was confirmed that the pore problem in curing of hydrogen storage alloy-contained propellants was originated from the property of hydrogen storage alloy and the existence of ammonium perchlorate and inappropriate casting velocity. By adjusting the adding sequence of materials and choosing suitable casting velocity, the pore problem in curing of HTPB propellant containing hydrogen storage alloy was resolved.
