Abstract

Large-scale, high-dynamic and heterogeneous networks are receiving significant attentions in many researches now. Because of lack of experiences of actual deployment, simulation becomes a necessary means. On the other hand the selection of mobility model is essential to the performance of various protocols. Random direction mobility model is widely-used. On the basis of random direction mobility model, two mobility models that are more suitable for the node mobility characteristics in high-dynamic environment are proposed in this paper, which are via the methods of variable speed and sub-section variable speed. The results of the simulation certificate the algorithm.
