Abstract

For electric bus BK6121, a better control strategy was put forward and the performance was improved a lot. The advantages of the double-way CAN bus and the key functions of vehicle main controller with the double-way CAN bus was described based on the requirements analysed results of electric bus main controller's functions. The on-board experiment results showed that the electric bus's performance was bettered a lot after using the main controller and the driver's operation stress was reduced, the vehicle's driving range was extended.
