Abstract

As a critical mechanism in the running system of tracked armored vehicles, the track is characterized by high-speed operation, heavy loads, and harsh working conditions. Its strength performance under high tensile load exerts a decisive impact on the running system and overall reliability of tracked armored vehicles. Previous research has rarely investigated the effects of differences in the transverse distribution of tensile loads on the track at various working positions on its strength performance. In this study, the key locations of tensile strength in each working section of the track are examined, revealing that the track exhibits different critical failure zones under tensile load in different operating sections.
