Abstract

How to meet the demand on the accuracy of conic constant and paraxial radius of off-axis aspheric is a key issue during fabricating process. From the equation for conic aspheric, a set of algorithms are derived from which the conic constant k and the paraxial radius of curvature r can be obtained. The experimental results of the 760 mm × 200 mm aspheric are presented. The fitting accuracy arrives to Δk = 0.015 and Δr = 0.341 mm, thus the deviation of the two indexes can be controlled effectively.
