Abstract
In this paper, blast performance and blast power of rock expanded ammonium nitrate explosive were studied. On the basis of analyzing the mechanism of rock blast, and through comparison its blast performance to that of AN-TNT and AN-TNT-Oil explosive, some technical ways for improving blast power of this explosive were advanced according to its characteristics, which it possess high detonation velocity, great mass blast power and low volume blast power yet.
