Abstract

In order to study on antiknock properties of worhead materials to shock loading, a kind of layered structure was developed to solve the problem of warhead protective layer selection. The explosion process of different protective layer structure was studied by numerical simulation. The protective layers with different material and different charge were conducted by experiments. The simulation and experiment results show that the protective layer with steel 45, steel 45 and aluminum alloy LY12, which possess the best antiknock properties, is significantly destroyed by composition B. And the protective layer with three-layer aluminum alloy LY12, which possesses the weakest antiknock properties, is intact after the ignition of the black powder.
