Abstract
The electric exploding foil is an important component of slipper plate detonator, and its conductivity is a key parameter of electric exploding process. The conductivity was discussed from three phases, i.e. early heated, intrinsic exploding and plasma, by analyzing the physics principle of the change of foil state. A computational model of conductivity of foil in an electric exploding process was established based on the characteristics of each phase. The simulated results of the model coincide well with the experimental results.
