Abstract
In this paper, we designed a set of simple, but efficient experimental apparatus for the DDT of pyrotechnic compositions and measured some kinds of usual pyrotechnic mixtures. According to the experimental results and calculations about thermodynamical parameters of those pyrotechnic compositions with the software `REAL', the key-factors governing deflagration to detonation transition were analyzed and some results were obtained.
