Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to carry out the stress analysis of an infinite anisotropic elastic medium containing elastic inclusions using the boundary point method. The boundary point method avoids various singular integrals appearing in the boundary integral formulations. Its numerical implementation is simpler relative to the boundary element method since there is no interpolation and integral implementation in the boundary point method, and only the source points corresponding to the boundary points are needed to formulate the related fundamental solution matrices. Numerical results are satisfied compared with the available solutions.
