Abstract

The mathematic model of the helium gas turbine coupled with the high temperature gas-cooled reactor was set up. The simulation model was implemented using Matlab/Simulink and parameterized with design and experimental data. Startup process simulation was carried out. The transient trajectories of the low pressure compressing process, high pressure compressing process were analyzed. The results indicate the helium gas turbine may work in the high efficient domain during the startup process and not be choked.
