Abstract
This paper presents a simultaneous interrogation technique for fiber Bragg grating and extrinsic Fabry-Perot interferometric sensors in which the role of optical spectrum analyzer is performed by a fiber Fabry-Perot tunable filter. The work has successfully demonstrated that FBG and EFPI sensors can be multiplexed with a single instrument.
