Abstract
Explicit internal signal stochastic resonance is investigated when white noise is added to the region of periodic-2 oscillatory state in a electrochemical model for anode dissolve oscillations. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of internal signal has a maximum value induced by white noise. It is found that, with the same noise intensity, the increment of the SNR of strong signal is faster than that of the weak signal's, however, the frequencies of both them change hardly. The simulations show that the noise has selectivity to the intrinsic signals and the system can sustain intrinsic period oscillatory states to resist the effect of noise.
