Abstract

A cyano-bridged (Fe₂Co₂) complex shows reversible single crystal-to-single crystal transformation between diamagnetic and paramagnetic states switched specifically by losing and absorbing methanol at room temperature in the solid state. And the solvent loss form presents temperature- and pressure-induced intramolecular electron transfer behaviour.
