Abstract

In order to decrease the storage cost of group key distribution protocol, a secure group key distribute protocol based on the status key tree is proposed. A method for constructing of status key tree is proposed. The particular process of group key distribution when a member joins/leaves the group is suggested. The security and performance of the protocol are analyzed. SKT decreases the storage cost group control key server (GCKS) needs from O(n) to O(log_dn).
