Abstract
To improve the real time of image registration, log-polar coordinate transformation is applied in the image registration method based on FFT, It has a robust match performance. The method uses the whole information of the image against partial image obstruction. It has high anti-interference performance, and it has fast algorithms easy to realize by hardware. Introduces the principle of image registration method based on FFT and the log-polar coordinate transformation, emphasizing resolation of re-sampling and equalizer in the log-polar coordinate transformation, give and analyze the experiment results under noisy environments. It showed that the method has robust image matching performance, and can be implemented as special highspeed image registration devices for many applications.
