Abstract

A road map assisted adaptive constant-turn tracking model is proposed to achieve high-accuracy ground turn target tracking. The road map assisted model fuses digital vector road map information to assist the establishment of a constantturn model. Compared with the conventional constant-turn model without prior turn rate, this model can adaptively adjust the model parameters according to the road map information. To validate the performance of this proposed model in ground target tracking, this paper compared it with the commonly used turning model without prior information by using Monte Carlo method. The experimental results show that the road map assisted turn-model can achieve higher precision and more stable target tracking than the commonly used turning model without prior information.
