Abstract

An adaptive radio frequency interference (RFI) suppression method based on Doppler frequency domain threshold detection is proposed to suppress the complicated radio frequency interference signals in the VHF/UHF band adaptively. By setting the RFI detection threshold in the Doppler frequency domain, the proposed method is applied in the range-Doppler imaging of moving targets using multi-frame stepped frequency signals. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that this method has good performance in the suppression of RFI signals in low expense of radar signals. Besides, the design of adaptive threshold is simple and the algorithm is easy to carry out.
