Abstract

The paper categorized nonionic water-soluble phosphines reported in the literature into hydroxy-subsituted phosphines, natural carbohydrate-supported phosphines, polyether-substitued phosphines, chiral phoshines, polymer-supported phosphines, thermoregulated phase-transfer catalytic phosphines and cyclodextrin-modified ligands, and reviewed on the synthesis of the phosphines and their application in aqueous biphasic catalysis.
