N2 - The application of novel energetic materials is inseparable from charging technology. Therefore, it is of great significance for the research on energetic materials charging technology, which can accelerate the applications of energetic materials. This work systematically reviews the present technology state of press charging (including molding, step-by-step pressing, and isostatic pressing), melt-cast charging (including melting casting, thermoplastic, and pressure filtration), pouring charging, and other charging technologies of energetic materials. At the end of the work, the developing trends of energetic materials charging technologies are prospected. Despite the developed charging technology that can meet the application requirements of different types of energetic materials, automation, digitalization, and intelligent charging technology, which can improve charging efficiency, enhance charging safety, and decrease potential danger, are the main developing trends for energetic materials.
