Abstract

Intelligent power electronics device is the important foundation for smart grid and energy Internet. It is vitally important and has practical significance to carry out research on intelligent power electronics device. In order to promote the theoretical research and practical development of intelligent power electronics devices, this paper surveys the current progress of intelligent power electronics device. Power electronics devices are classified according to their major functionalities. For each class, this paper discusses supporting techniques such as sensing, communication, automatic control and so on. Based on the analysis of research directions of intelligent monitoring, fault diagnosis and condition assessment, this paper summarizes the application situation of intelligent power electronics devices. In the end, this paper discusses the development trend of intelligent power electronic devices, and proposes suggestions on some urgent problems.
