Abstract

Lithium ion battery offer significant improvements in mass specific capacity, volume specific capacity and cycle performance compared with other traditional power source, it has been widely used in many fields. The application situation of lithium ion battery in the aerospace was reviewed in this paper. The basic performances of lithium ion battery which used in space were presented respectively, and the future development is also expected.
