Abstract

Based on the theory of wide electron beam focusing having curvilinear axis, the nature of electrostatic conic lens was studied, and the definitions of fundamental electron optical parameters of conic lenses in focus of electrostatic conic lens was studied, and the definitions of fundamental electron optical parameters of conic lenses in electrostatic field, such as focal point, focal length, were given, in which the principal trajectory having a planar curve was considered. For example, the relationship between different electrostatic parameters and electron optical parameters of two types of electrostatic conic lens was shown.
