Research on the non-uniqueness of equilibrium pressure in a solid rocket motor

A new concept that there might be more than one equilibrium pressures in a rocket motor using double-base propellant was put forward. This viewpoint was confirmed by a few experiments, besides, the necessary external and internal conditions for its presence were also discussed. It was noted that the dominant factor is the ignition pressure, and the high ignition pressure will lead to high stable equilibrium pressure and vice versa.
