Research on the Delayed Diagonal Zipper Codes Based on Periodic Truncation

Abstract

A modified zipper code scheme is proposed, which employs the periodic truncation and time delay to avoid error propagation. The simulation results show that input BER threshold raised by 1.2E-4 and 1E-3 respectively by increasing mapping delay and reducing truncated length.
