Abstract
p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene (CalixSMO) was synthesized for Sr2+ separation and the chemical structure of the synthesized product was confirmed by FT-IR, 1HNMR and MS. The results show that when the initial concentration of nitric acid is 3 mol×L-1 and CH2Cl2 is used as the organic solvent, the Sr2+ extraction rate could reach to 60% after extraction for 120 min under 298 K. The ratio of CalixSMO/Sr2+ in the inclusion complexes is 1/2. Moreover, studies on the extraction of K+, Sb3+, Ca2+, Sm3+, Sn4+ and Na+ show that CalixSMO has good selectivity for Sr2+.
