Abstract

In this paper, a very low earth orbit (VLEO) satellite orbit maneuver strategy is designed based on aerodynamic assisted configuration. The effectiveness of the strategy is verified by numerical simulation analysis. The aero-assisted orbital maneuver strategy presented in this paper has the orbit maintenance ability to meet the amplitude tolerance of the mean orbital element oscillation. This research introduced aerodynamic related theory, innovative research in satellite orbit maneuver technology, aerodynamic servo as auxiliary means, effectively reduce the traditional satellite pressure control mechanism. The research results in this paper provide support for the subsequent implementation of high-definition and quick response new system satellites.
