Research on optimization method for shift schedule of tracked vehicle with hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission

Abstract

A kind of automatic shift schedule optimization method was provided for a tracked vehicle with hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission in order to improve its dynamic performance. The dynamic model of the transmission assembly was built in MATLAB/Simdriveline environment, and optimum shift schedule was derived by using iSight software to call the dynamic model above, then the gear-shifting schedule was achieved after optimization. Simulation results show that the method is significant to improve dynamic performance and gear-shifting smoothness theoretically and practically.
