Abstract

Complex Product System is playing an increasingly important role in the modern economic development, and even affects a country's overall competitiveness. According to the concepts and characteristics of COPS, and the relation between modularization and COPS, this paper has constructed three types of modular innovation model of COPS based on relationship between complex product and corporate, the first modular innovation model within single complex product in enterprise, the second model within complex products among enterprises for collaboration and supporting and the third model among products based on complementary resources. This paper has elaborated each model and its applicability. Finally, this paper has pointed out the application and development of three types of modular innovation model of COPS in China.
