Abstract

Based on the characteristic of hybrid system, a control method of motor-engine-clutch coordination for startup procedure was proposed. The objective was to achieve better startup quality with relatively low electrical consumption. To compensate the nonlinearity of clutch engaging procedure, the incremental PID algorithm for electric motor is introduced. Furthermore, this method was verified in contrast test with normal startup method, from several aspects such as startup speed, jerk value and electricity consumption.
