Abstract
The dynamics of mutual dissolution of components in the nitrate cellulose(NC)-glycerol triacetate system was studied for various degrees of the NC etherification(nitrogen contents 11.2%̃13.0%). The effects of molecular mass characteristics and the degree of crystallinity on the diffusion was studied for a system with fixed nitrogen content (12.2%). In concentrated NC solutions, the diffusion coefficient shows a correlation with the degree of crystallinity, and in dilute solutions, with the weight-average molecular mass of the polymer.
