Abstract

Integrated design of battery case and frame of electric bicycles has been a trend of development. After the study of battery cases from electric bicycles and its quantitative evaluation, research on the concealment of the battery case is performed. The research method integrates eye tracking experiment and subjective evaluation to perform quantitative analysis for the nine representative electric bicycles on the market. It is concluded that the battery case is concealed the most when it is installed in the down tube of the bicycle, followed by the position of the rear seat and the seat tube. The method can provide a certain reference for design and analysis approach for the integrated design of electric bicycles.
