Abstract
This paper proposes a method for calculating friction work during the shifting process based on the relationship between clutch oil pressure and friction torque. This method utilizes the automatic transmission input shaft speed, output shaft speed, and torque data to directly calculate the clutch's friction work. By considering the effect of clutch oil pressure on friction torque during the shifting process and introducing a correction factor to adjust the calculation results, the accuracy is ultimately verified through simulation. The study shows that this method can achieve precise calculations of friction work during the shifting process, reducing the relative error from 19.7% to 0.5%.
