Abstract

In order to solve the problems of missile's safety and arming device identifying missile's overloading, that is the phenomena of "arming movement accumulating" of the untuned runaway escapement in collision experiments, and tooth breaking in impulsion experiments, when adopting setback arming device driven by single mass slider. This paper brings forward a principle of untuned runaway escapement driven by doubleslider to identify missile's overloading. Through theoretical analysis, simulation in VisualNastran software and experiments, the results indicate that untuned runaway escapement driven by double-slider mechanism can effectively identify missile's overloading and solve the problems of setback arming device driven by single mass slider.
