N2 - In the assembly design process of aircraft products, plenty used standard parts make it boring and difficult to extract assembly features and assembly constraints between the products and standard parts, with the large occupancy of internal storage space and low operation speed. Therefore, in this paper, the practical methodology for light-weight of the tree-dimensional model is put forward for model simplification to replace the tree-dimensional solid model for the design process of rapid assembly. And for the preparation of automatic assembly, the automatic determination for specification of the parts is proposed on the basis of automatic calculation of the thickness between the mating parts. Eventually the assembly for the standard parts can be implemented rapidly, intelligently, in batch, and automatically.
