Research of control technology for LED screen based On CPLD(II) analysis of LED software program

Abstract

The corresponding software design based on the hard wares, which includes the serial data receiver and the data saver and the information display, was made. Also by using the VHDL language, the program of UART, Memorizer Control and LED Screen Scan were developed. The problems encountered in testing and their solutions for the software design are discussed. The results include: the emulation procedure is very important for EDA; the microcomputer can control the information of the screen; the platform can work well without computer; the memorizer can keep saving the shown data when power down.
