Abstract
Several migration mechanisms for mobile agent were analyzed and summarized, including externalization method in CORBA, move operation in CORBA lifecycle service, Java's serialize mechanism and dynamic classloader mechanism. The contrast differences and comparison were made among these mechanisms. An example which uses Java's serialization and dynamic classloader in move scope was described.
