Abstract

In this paper, MT9T001, a 1/2 inch 3-megapixel CMOS digital image sensor is introduced. A multiple channel image sampling system is designed and implemented with MT9T001. The sensor parameters are configured and the synchronous exposure problem is solved. The test results are illustrated and the real captured images are shown. Based on hardware, a new FPGA design method of Bayer data to RGB transform is given, which is easy to implement, resources-saving and robust. The method is employed in the multiple channel image sampling system. A real scene monitoring results are captured and presented finally.
