Abstract

To improve the reliability of diesel engine electronic control unit, on the basis of an analysis of the function and construction of electronic control systems, mathematical reliability models of electronic control unit are built up. Expressions for the calculation are presented. After reasonable assumptions and simplification, the reliability prediction allocation of the hardware circuit is carried out. System experiments were conducted to prove the propriety of the reliability analysis and the design method used.
