Abstract

This paper develops a relative states determination algorithm based on star-sensor and differential pseudo-range of GPS for formation flying of two satellites. Firstly, the dynamic equations of relative orbit and relative attitude are given, and the attitude coordinate system are discussed. Then, the observation of star-sensor and differential pseudo-range of GPS are constructed. The unscented Kalman filtering (UKF) is used to design the unsecured Kalman filter of relative states determination of formation flying of two satellites. Simulation results show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
